Golfbaan: El Cortijo


The golf course has 18 holes, Par 72 and with a length of 6,308 m., Is one of the longest courses in Spain. Its design, of up to six tees per hole, allows players of all levels to enjoy the course.

The holes are surrounded by several lakes that have been incorporated into the design and that undoubtedly give it a special appeal, both aesthetically and as a game strategy.

The designers of the course, Blake Stirling and Marco Martin have an extensive curriculum, with Blake Stirling being the chief designer of Pete Dye (considered one of the four greatest designers in the world).

The course debuted internationally in the high competition, hosting the European circuit of the Canary Islands Open in Spain in 2002, with the victory of Sergio GarcĂ­a and remaining Rafael Rafael Cabrera-Bello as the best amateur of the tournament.
