Golfbaan: Seefeld-Wildmoos

The Seefeld-Wildmoos golf club is, without doubt, the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of all alpine golf courses. In existence for over fifty years and built from original plans by the well known golf course designer, Donald Harradine, the natural landscape is at the heart of its layout with outstanding views to take your breath away.

The beautiful backdrop of the Karwendel and Wetterstein mountains are an inspiration to the golfing fraternity. The fairways incorporate established trees of Larch, Birch and Pine. Despite the altitude of 1300 meters, the fairways and greens are of the highest standard, where E-trolleys and Club Cars are available on request.

The clubhouse restaurant with its traditional Tirolean décor, provides a convivial atmosphere where guests and members can meet, chat or relax and enjoy the exquisite cuisine.

The test process for the "Leading Golf Courses" is certainly not an easy part.

The status of ‘Leading Golf Courses’ is an accolade to the hard work and constant determination of the competent staff in achieving the very highest standards required for the upkeep of the fairways, greens and overall appearance of the clubhouse, shops and general service facilities.

‘Mystery Players’ test the club’s effectiveness in respect of amenities and standards on a regular basis. The one hundred questions are pivotal in ensuring the highest quality and presentation of the club excels expectations to maintain the ‘seal of approval’ as a member of the ‘Leading Golf Courses’
