Golfbaan: AUGUSTA GOLF CALATAYUD


Its main characteristic is its demanding layout, with several holes of nearly 500 metres, small green and narrow fairways, all requiring extremely precise play. Typical features include the two strategically located lakes which form part of play for several of the holes, ensuring that all strokes are both entertaining and challenging.

The course is certified by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation for use as a venue for a range of golfing events, both local and national.

The Augusta Golf Calatayud club was opened in 2001, initially having a first 9 holes round, afterwards, in 2006, the second round is opened to complete the 18 holes.

It is characterized by being a demanding course, with several holes near the 500 meters, and two strategically placed lakes to come into play on several holes, whereby the training and the challenge is present on all shots.

As a complementary facility, a 9 holes Pitch & Putt was built in 2011, located next to the driving range and Putt & Green, conforming therefore a full range of possibilities around the sport of golf.

All the golfing facilities, along with other sports areas, occupy an area of ​​over 110 hectares.

The course is oriented towards the city of Calatayud, between mountains and with a superb scenic beauty, with the Ayud castle in the background, and the Roman ruins of Bílbilis.

The course is approved by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, so every kind of local and national level events can be hold.
