Clubinformatie Golfbaan: LA VEREDA Our club was founded in the 80s and was formalized in 1990 by lovers of golf in Cuenca, being the oldest club of short courses in the region. The club is a non-profit sports company and tries to be accessible to all, so we have an annual fee of only 30 euros that we dedicate to the maintenance of the field entirely. The course is located in Villalba de la Sierra, 14 km from Cuenca at the gates of the Serrania de Cuenca Natural Park, so the environment we enjoy is privileged, surrounded by pine forests and with a great variety of wildlife, this is within the cañada real Rodrigo Ardad and our main objective is to maintain the field with maximum respect for nature in a sustainable way and taking advantage of the richness of the environment that surrounds us, this being declared on several occasions as the best rustic field in Spain by the RFEGOLF. Our policy is to promote sports and golf locally and regionally, currently we have 164 members and we run tournaments every Sunday of the year ending last season with 38 federated tournaments being among the top 3 clubs in Spain at the organizational level. tournaments thanks to sponsors who collaborate in a disinterested way with our club. Our goal is to promote both the sport that we like, as well as publicize our surroundings at a tourist and gastronomic level and that everyone who comes can enjoy a great atmosphere, a familiar treatment and that knows the possibilities that our region has.
