Clubinformatie Golfbaan: Salzkammergut Golfclub The Salzkammergut Golfclub Bad Ischl, founded in 1933, is located amidst the beautiful mountains and the deep blue lakes of the Salzkammergut . As early as 1937, as was still largely unknown in Central Europe golf, went with us Edward, Duke of Windsor on the round. In the decades after, our traditional club helped shape the development of golf in Austria. The expansion to 18 holes , supraregional advertising for golf, great sporting achievements, as well as international events , have created a solid base for our golf club. World-class players such as Gordon Brand or the golfers Severiano Ballesteros and Mark McNulty , who have unfortunately died much too soon, have all contributed to the popularity. The Spaniard Jose Maria Olazabal, 2-time Master Winner, showed the finest golf for two days on our course in 2002. A spacious driving range with practice bunker and chipping green invites you to exercise. In bad weather, roofed tees offer enough space. All 18 fairways are integrated into the natural landscape and with state-of-the-art machinery perfect care of our course is possible. The "Ischler greens" already have the best reputation nationwide. New golf cars are available for a more comfortable space management. Our secretary will gladly and reliably reserve your desired start time. Our guests are provided with modern wardrobes and sanitary facilities in the clubhouse. A large club restaurant with first-class cuisine invites you to enjoy a meal before or after the game.
