The Renneshof - origin goes back to the year 1570

The Renneshof, a farm complex dating back to 1570 in Willich-Holterhöfe.
It is one of the five courtyards that have been listed as a hamlet and listed in the monument list.
Due to its location, its architecture and its structural condition in conjunction with moats, access road and the associated tree stands, the Renneshof represents an extremely preserved and worth protecting ensemble. This course is a formerly water-walled, enclosed four-winged complex. It is still in good condition today, with its field brick facades and tiled pitched roofs. The courtyard is exactly axial north-south and still surrounded by the now dried moats. The outer trench edges are lined with deciduous trees in row planting. The house is five-axis with two elevated full floors. The adjoining annexes to the right and left are four-axes each and slightly lower in storey height. The façades made of field bricks have no special decorative elements except a horizontal cross-brace above the ground floor and a cornice. All door and window openings have segmental arch covers and bluegrass benches. On the roof of the main house there is a small hand-forged, metal-covered belfry with a small bell for the first time. The barn and stables are also executed in Feldbrandziegelmauerwerk. The saddle roofs and arched access openings are still in their original condition. The gatehouse on the north side is uniaxial and has two abutments and a gate keel made of natural stone material in the area of ​​the basket arch on the outside of the courtyard. The roof of the gatehouse is covered with an artificial stone collar and has in the first point a cubic console with attached decorative ball. Inside the residential part, the storey staircase and the floor tiles are worth mentioning,
